On June 12, 1999, the Chocolate Watchband got back together to play a show called the 66/99 at the Casbah Club in San Diego, California. I couldn't make it but I did manage to get some photos from Alec Palao and e-mail comments from the lead singer himself, Dave Aguilar. This is what he wrote:
"The show was fantastic. I couldn't believe all the fans that showed up. It was so amazing to hear the audience singing all the old songs with us. I think we did 4 encores before the club owners finally closed the place down. I think I must have signed a thousand autographs on everything from drumsticks, napkins, harmonicas to a pair of beautifully matched breasts. WHAT A NIGHT IT WAS!"
